This page is dedicated to the Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 analog synthesizer.
P600 Patch Merger is a simple tool for managing patches of the Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 analog synthesizer. Its one and only purpose is to merge single P600 patch files (which are in sysex format and have a .syx file extension) into a single file that contains all of the patches. The reason you might want this tool is because the P600 does not have the ability to do a bulk dump, only single patches. P600 Patch Merger corrals all of those stray single patches into a nice single patch bank file. I may expand this tool as my own needs arise, but for now it's short and sweet.

Make sure that you merge only 100 patches or less at a time, and that each patch number in a "bank" is unique (00-99). The patch numbers listed in the interface are where the Prophet 600 will put that patch when you transfer the patches to the synth.
These are some MP3s that demonstrate the Prophet 600 default patches. There isn't anything particularly musical about these demos. They are just meant to demonstrate the sound of the synth. They were recorded with no effects. And frankly, I sometimes forgot to watch the levels as closely as I should have. Quick and dirty, sorry.
