- Pre-service teachers expressed their attitudes toward linguistic variety in various ways.  
- While negative views were expressed by some students, the vast majority of pre-service teachers 
			learned a great deal from the unit material, reacted positively to the information and 
			saw the value in language knowledge and diversity education.
