Overview

SampleStash is an audio file librarian for macOS developed by Sonic Amigos. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

Data Collection

SampleStash does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your Mac.

What the App Accesses

Sample folders you choose to add to your library, including a folder watcher that detects new files in those locations (local disk only)
Audio and sound bank files you import, analyze, or export (local disk only)
Library database, tags, and generated waveforms/spectrograms stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/SampleStash/

All data remains on your computer. Nothing is sent to any server. Audio analysis for tempo and duplicate detection, and reading of embedded metadata such as musical key, is performed entirely on-device.

Analytics & Tracking

SampleStash contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind.

Third-Party Services

SampleStash does not integrate with any third-party services or APIs.

In-App Purchases

SampleStash uses Apple’s StoreKit for in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. Sonic Amigos does not receive or store any payment information.
